Larsen & Partners have often been involved in transportations requiring design of special lifting equipment or even reconstruction of existing vessels to either meet the specific transport or to optimize the overall logistic plan. Being involved in the planning process as early as possible we can offer detailed, workable and cost saving solutions.

Left photo:     Show a special designed lifting frame enabling the ship cranes to install the 450 tons crane house on top of the crane      
                      pedestal. Subsequently a 55 meter long crane arm were fitted to the crane house.

Right photo:  Recently Larsen & Partners were involved in a successful conversion of 2 container ships into RORO vessel (roll on / roll
                      off). The converted ships are today employed on long term contracts shipping offshore wind turbines.
